This drawing represents eight feasts celebrated during the liturgical season of Christmas. The Nativity of Jesus Christ is at its center, framed in an eight-pointed star. Above it, in a smaller star, is His Circumcision (celebrated on 1 January); the Adoration of the Magi, celebrated at Epiphany, is below. Surrounding these scenes are saints: Stephen the First Martyr, John the Apostle, the Holy Innocents, Thomas of Canterbury, and Pope Sylvester I.
