St. Cecilia, an early Roman martyr, is the patron saint of musicians. I followed the tradition of depicting her playing a portative organ. Around this central image is a border of ivy with a butterfly perched on it. The text is set in Benedict, a typeface that I designed myself.
The print is based on my ink drawings. It is about one and a half times larger than the originals.
