ST. LUCY of SYRACUSE
PRINT by DANIEL MITSUI
St. Lucy was a virgin martyr of the early fourth century. She was miraculously preserved from harm when her persecutors attempted to burn her alive, but she died when stabbed through the throat. The outer border I filled with various sea creatures.
The print is based on my ink drawings. It is about one and a half times larger than the originals.
Dimensions: 6" × 8"
